Etsy announced a number of new tools for sellers last week. The online marketplace said shop feeds now come pre-formatted for easy upload to Google Base, which helps shoppers on Google and Google Shopping (Product Search) find their Etsy product listings. Shop feeds now include thumbnail images and are easier to find, as are "Favorites" feeds.
Etsy added shipping and address data to sellers' CSV download file to provide better information on the status of orders and provide a means to export shipping addresses for bulk shipping.
Etsy also announced it has completed beta testing of Etsy Web Analytics, which is provided through Google Analytics. The release allows Etsy sellers to track metrics such as page views, site visits, popular content and page referrals, and the feature is free for all sellers.
