Reading AuctionBytes: Auction Site Wensy Integrates with SpoonFeeder, Reports January Uptick

Online auction site Wensy.com released sales and traffic statistics for the month of January. It had 47,604 listings and sold 2,673 items in January valued at $19,139.84. This compares to 1,190 items sold ($11.422.02) in December. There were a total of 5,963 bids placed during the month of January compared to 1,857 placed in December. As of Friday it reported 53,546 active listings.

Wensy gained 493 new members during the month of January and reported on Friday it had 4,379 members in total, gaining about 10 to 20 new members a day. It reported 29,505 visitors and 588,255 page views for the month of January.

Wensy also announced it has entered into an agreement with auction-management software SpoonFeeder, which now supports 100% of the listing options and formats on Wensy and will soon provide support for post sales-management functions. SpoonFeeder allows sellers to import and migrate listings from drop-shipper catalogs, from third-party CSV catalog extracts, from eBay's Turbo Lister CSV format, or directly from eBay itself. It can also download and locally recapture photos located on any picture host.

Wensy was featured in the February issue of Tuff Stuff's Sports Collector's Monthly Magazine
