Reading AuctionBytes: Artfact Launches New Design of Live-Bidding Auction Site

**Artfact has launched a new look for its Artfact.com and Invaluable.com websites that offers a more user-friendly interface. A new "My Artfact" console allows users to easily manage their Artfact activity, and the redesigned homepage features highlights of upcoming auctions, showcases items recently sold, and enables visitors to watch and experience live auctions.

Artfact is a global marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles and estate auctions offering live online bidding at premier auctions. The company recently launched an Arts Ad Network offering advertisers exclusive access to over 40 content-rich arts and culture websites, including Artfact and a portfolio of Internet publishers spanning fine art, antiques, collectibles, theatre, dance, fine auctions and art news.

Artfact's re-launch comes just months after eBay Live Auctions ceased its live-bidding operations.

The company said it has over 1,000 fine auctioneers including Doyle New York, Swann Galleries, I.M. Chait of Beverly Hills, Koller Auctions (Zurich), Lyon & Turnbull (Scotland), Gorringes (UK), Ritchie's Auctioneers (Canada) and Mallet Japan. The Artfact community has grown to more than 10 million collectors and dealers worldwide, and the Artfact.com and Invaluable.com websites now have more than 1,500,000 unique visitors monthly. Artfact's database includes more than 50 million complete auction results totaling more than $190 billion in value, including information on more than 500,000 international artists.
