Reading AuctionBytes: Three Texas eBay Consignment Services Merge

Three eBay consignment businesses in North Texas have merged and intend to expand nationally. Arlington-based Easysale, Inc. merged with Dallas-Fort Worth's two iSold It on eBay franchisees to help individuals and businesses sell items on eBay.

The combined company will retain the Easysale brand name. The iSold It stores in Dallas, Plano, Addison, Fort Worth and Southlake have been re-branded as Easysale retail stores, and former iSold It franchisees David Goldstein and Keith Waggoner have joined the board of Easysale to help with the development and growth of the company. In addition to the retail stores, Easysale's 55,000-square-foot warehouse in Arlington will serve as a central distribution center for receiving, processing and shipping merchandise.

Consignors may either drop off their items at one of the company's six locations or have the items picked up for free at their home or business. Easysale then lists the item on eBay on behalf of the customer.
