Terapeak has launched a new International Search Tool that lets users conduct research across six international sites. The report displays sales data from six international sites: US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany and France. Users can then compare Successful Listings, Sell-Through, Average Price, Buyer Country Sales Distribution, Seller Country Sales Distribution and Transaction Site Sales Distribution in a side-by-side comparison.
A sample screenshot reveals that a particular item might have received a higher average selling price in one country, but a better sell-through rate in another.
Terapeak spokesperson Hal Walling said, "We're excited about the possibility and newfound ease of optimizing which eBay site to sell goods on, as closing prices can vary quite drastically from country to country. Now, with this international arbitrage feature, one single search can show sellers which of the six sites offer the best venue for their product."
The new tool is free of charge to anyone with a Terapeak All-Sites subscription.
