Infopia Announces SEO Improvements
By Ina Steiner

Infopia is releasing a new feature to improve natural search traffic and increase revenues on clients' sites. Now, website addresses (URLs) will show the exact product structure of a client's inventory database (tiered categories, brands, products).

Infopia said the SEO-friendly URLs is a response to recent changes in major search-engine algorithms that were randomly interpreting the old-style structure as a possible form of duplicative content and therefore sometimes discounting it. The change should increase page branding and drive more organic search traffic, and along with robust product catalog data structure, will drive more traffic to clients' sites, according to the company.

Infopia spokesperson Marissa Nichols said the search engine optimized URLs is the first of three traffic enhancements that Infopia is rolling out this month.
