Mercent Says Amazon Payments Outperforms Google Checkout
By Ina Steiner

Mercent expanded its support for Amazon.com with complete integration to the Checkout by Amazon payments program. Mercent CEO Eric Best said he is hearing from his merchants that Amazon Payments is outperforming Google Checkout on volume, second only to PayPal and traditional credit cards in popularity. He said the service has also served to lift conversions and average order volume.

Mercent has fully integrated its Mercent Retail shopping feed management platform with the Checkout by Amazon program, giving retail clients the ability to reach, target and sell merchandise directly to Amazon's 95 million active buyers, and process online purchases through the convenient and familiar Amazon checkout experience. Additionally, the Mercent Retail-to-CBA system integration allows merchants to offer consumers single-click ordering capabilities and Amazon's popular "A-to-Z" purchase guarantee.

Mercent Retail helps online retailers promote their products across online transactional marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay and is the single point of integration with an online advertising network that includes transactional marketplaces, comparison shopping engines (CSEs), and paid inclusion and affiliate marketing programs.
