eBay's ProStores storefront-hosting service announced several new features designed to help merchants attract new and repeat customers and work more efficiently with eBay. New features include product feeds for theFind.com and NexTag shopping sites, a tool that lets shoppers bookmark pages so they can return to a particular store, and integration with the Sales in a Click email newsletter service.
Other features include a new product promotion discounts feature; multiple product images; time-saving enhancements to catalog and order management; and PayPal checkout improvements.
Merchants can synchronize their eBay listings with matching ProStores products based on titles or SKU numbers and create listings using custom eBay listing themes in ProStores. Other eBay enhancements include supporting eBay-approved Checkout Redirect, immediate payment and the eBay sales tax tables on listings, eBay variations, and listing reminders and suggestions.
