Omidyar Network, a venture capital firm that invests in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, announced it has established a new entity in India. The organization has engaged Jayant Sinha to lead Omidyar Network India Advisors, the newly formed entity. eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife Pam established Omidyar Network in 2004.
