ShipRush is now integrated with Amazon.com in addition to eBay, helping sellers comply with the marketplace's policies, including Charge When Ship. ShipRush Version 7 of the shipping software automatically marks Amazon sales as "shipped" and posts tracking numbers to Amazon.
ShipRush product manager Rafael Zimberoff said Amazon gives sellers a fixed number of days to mark items as shipped in the Amazon console, and failure to mark items as shipped leads to account suspension for the seller. ShipRush automatically marks items as shipped in Amazon, saving sellers a lot of time and effort.
Mr. Zimberoff also said when ShipRush marks the item as "shipped" in Amazon, it triggers the Amazon Charge when Ship to charge the buyer's credit card. He said many merchant credit card contracts require that merchants delay charging credit cards until the item actually ships, and called the Amazon system of "charge when ship" an important, buyer-friendly initiative, especially as merchants may have delays of 1-7 days to ship.
ShipRush also introduced My.ShipRush Web Portal. ShipRush can automatically upload shipping history to the web, allowing shipments to be searched from any internet-connected computer. My.ShipRush also allows sharing, so shipping history can be accessed by multiple users.
FedEx shippers continue to enjoy ShipRush for ecommerce free of charge for eBay, Amazon, PayPal and Yahoo Stores. ( FedEx offers discounts of up to 21% to ShipRush users.) ShipRush Endicia is free for high volume shippers, and other ShipRush versions are also available.
