eBay has extended its special pricing for listings in the media category. Sellers pay 5 cents for insertion fees in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Games for Fixed Price items listed with Product Details (pre-filled item information) through March 30, 2010. They also receive a free Subtitle upgrade with Fixed Price and Auction-style listings, and other fees, including Final Value fees, apply.
eBay first introduced category-specific pricing for media listings in February 2008, lowering the fees in a tiered pricing structure. In August 2008, it lowered fixed-price listing fees for Books, Music, DVDs & Movies and Video Games categories to 15 cents, and introduced the 5-cent listing promotion, which has been extended several times since.
