eBay announced it had made errors in invoices sent to AdCommerce advertisers on February 8, 2010. eBay apparently failed to account for charges accrued for clicks in the month of January 2010. AdCommerce is a pay-per-click advertising program for eBay sellers who pay for their ads to appear on eBay search result pages (see this AuctionBytes Newsflash article for more information).

eBay told advertisers on Wednesday that as a result of the re-invoicing, automatic payments typically withdrawn on the 18th of the month would be delayed a few days to adjust for the invoicing error; for all customers who have a payment method with AdCommerce, no further action is needed. We will automatically withdraw the full amount owed for January 2010. If you are making a one-time payment for the amount due, please reference the adjusted invoice.
