Paymate Seeks High-Volume eBay Sellers for Online Payments Service

Paymate announced a new program for eBay PowerSellers. The company is one of only several integrated providers of online payments on eBay in North America, where its primary focus has been to recruit small- to medium-sized sellers. The company is now offering a way for sellers to apply for a limit increase based on PowerSeller classifications and status.

Currently Paymate provides Bronze and Silver PowerSellers the ability to receive credit-card payments online, with a limit of $5,000 per month with a Standard Account, and a limit of $10,000 per month with an eBusiness Account.

Paymate announced a new program in which eBay PowerSellers in higher tiers, who may need higher limits, can receive a higher limit (up to $150,000) if they satisfy certain risk-assessment prerequisites. Note that there is a non-refundable $50 fee to process applications to be considered for a higher limit. More information is available on the Paymate website.
