Twitter is holding its first developers conference on April 14 - 15 in San Francisco. With all the talk about social shopping and mobile commerce, the conference may incubate ideas for ecommerce opportunities for the micro-blogging platform.
Among the sessions, Twitter's Chief Operating Officer Dick Costolo will speak on monetization and will host a panel, "Investing in the Ecosystem." Attendees will be able to spend time coding alongside Twitter engineers; talk with Twitter employees; and meet with investors. A 2-day pass costs $469, while a 1-day pass to "hack day" costs $140. More information is on the conference website.
