New Conference to Address the Rise of Social Commerce

The Altimeter Group will hold a 2-day conference in the fall called "the Rise of Social Commerce." The event promises to give attendees insight about how to build communities, enhance brand loyalty and improve the customer relationship and costs $2,000 to attend.

The Altimeter Group was founded by Charlene Li, author of Groundswell and formerly of Forrester Research. Jeremiah Owyang, considered one of the leading experts in social media and also a former Forrester Research analyst, is a Partner.

The event takes place in Palo Alto on October 6 - 7, more information is available on the Rise of Social Commerce website.
