Ruby Plaza has launched a new promotion offering a special rate for sellers. Through the end of 2010, Ruby Plaza will waive set-up fees and will charge merchants $9/month, with no contracts or cancellation fees. Ruby Plaza launched in the spring to offer a wider selection of items, including home decor and handmade goods, than its sister marketplace, Ruby Lane, which is an established online antiques mall.
Ruby Plaza has adjusted the rates of its existing shops to reflect the promotional rates so that no one is paying more than $9 a month until the end of 2010, according to Palmer Pekarek, Director of Communications and
New Business Development. "We know that today's economic crunch makes it difficult to invest in new
selling venues, but, what better time to diversify your sales strategy and reach new customers."
