WorthPoint entered into an agreement with Advanced Ecommerce Research Systems (AERS) to acquire eBay transaction data. WorthPoint helps collectors determine the value of collectibles and offers subscriptions for $9.99 per month; it currently sources market data from GoAntiques.com, TIAS and leading auction houses.
WorthPoint will incorporate the eBay data into its Worthopedia database of antiques and collectibles transactions, adding historical and ongoing information on price, description and images from approximately 150 million transactions.
AERS is the sole authorized re-licenser of eBay market data and produces Terapeak for eBay, an eBay research tool for online sellers.
