Payvment Launches New Features for Sellers on Facebook

Payvment launched new features for users of its Facebook ecommerce platform that enable shoppers to easily share their Wish Lists on their Timelines. The features are designed to drive greater conversation around products and more powerful, personalized social commerce experiences, and they capitalize on new buttons that go beyond the Facebook "Like" button.

As an example of how the features work, Payvment said if a shopper clicks the Payvment "Want" button on a particular listing, the resulting post might read, "Jane wants a Gold Bangle Bracelet at the Shopping Mall on Facebook." Payvment explained, "These posts appear within Facebook ticker, so Jane's friend can now easily get her the ideal gift with a few simple clicks."

Shoppers can also add their Wish List to their Facebook Timeline by clicking "Want" on products within over 100,000 stores across Facebook or any of the more than 2.4 million products in the Shopping Mall. The Wish List is also available within the Shopping Mall to ensure shoppers can easily see their friend's wants and tastes when selecting a gift.

Payvment also added a new "Polls" feature to its platform to help sellers drive more sales and boost engagement with shoppers. Sellers can instantly create polls featuring their products, and then ask shoppers to vote on a wide range of topics, including which products they should offer as a daily deal or what new colors, options, or sizes they'd like to see.

Poll immediately go out to sellers' entire Facebook fan base and Twitter followers. When fans and followers click on the poll, they are brought to the seller's storefront, where they can vote in the poll, see the poll results and also how their friends voted. They will also be able to share the poll with more friends and followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
