Ask Bill the Postman
January 22, 2000
Dear Bill the Postman,
How much will it cost to ship a watch to Germany?
Signed,
In a Hurry
Dear In a Hurry,
A timely question! Obviously it depends on the size and weight of the watch, but you have a wide variety of choices. I've created a table that can be found at the AuctionBytes.com Web site (http://www.auctionbytes.com/Yellow_Pages/Postman/billfaqs/billfaqs.html ), based on a 2 lb. package. Anytime you are shipping overseas, I would recommend insurance, and some sort of proof of delivery. If you don't want the extra services, simply subtract them from the total charges. Hope that helps!
Oh, and if the package ticks or makes noise you should tell the clerk. She will mark the box as such.
Signed,
Bill the Postman
