AuctionHawk Offers Flat-Fee for Auction Management Service

Reading AuctionBytes: AuctionHawk Offers Flat-Fee for Auction Management Service

AuctionHawk has received its eBay developer certification, making it the first eBay-certified auction management service to offer a flat-fee pricing structure across the board. AuctionHawk offers sellers a flat fee of $8.99 to $36.99 a month for auction listing and management services with no final-value fees. There is a charge of 3-cents per-listing to cover the eBay API expense.

"Sellers who were paying on average of $100-$500 per month for listing services with other auction providers can now pay a flat fee of $8.99 to $36.99 a month, with no additional percentage-based final-value fees charged at the time a sale is complete," said Jason Ritenour, AuctionHawk founder and CEO.

The service comes with 30MB image-hosting (you can upgrade for an extra fee). Reporting features will be added in the future.

Ritenour is from Austin, Texas, and has been programming since he was 12 years old. His mother sells on eBay, and the site first debuted as an auction search engine. When Andale bought Honesty, Ritenour started creating a program to "fill the gap left by Honesty," he said. In November 2001, EZ-Lister was developed as an affordable and simpler alternative for selling on eBay.

"The flat-fee service offering like the one we provide will become the industry standard for all online auction management services, leading to a more profitable marketplace for sellers," Ritenour said.

AuctionHawk also announced it has streamlined its Web site, complete with ad-creation and scheduling software, to make it simple for users to manage every aspect of their eBay auctions. Features include integrated image-hosting, up to 250 ad layouts and post-auction sales-management tools. Auction Hawk has plans to offer additional services later this year, including advanced inventory management, affordable storefronts and a free appraisal service.

Sellers using the service have full access to all Auction Hawk site features, including the gallery and post-sales-management tools. See http://www.auctionhawk.com/help/?s=eztour6 for more information.
