This & That
1) New Pottery & Porcelain Forum
By Ina Steiner

We're very excited to announce that we have a new (and long overdue) Pottery and Porcelain forum on our Site. Graham Roberthall hosts the P&P forum. Graham's main interests are in Antique British Ceramics, especially Royal Worcester from the Victorian period, although he has an interest in all ceramics. He also runs several Web Sites, including The Antique Worcester Porcelain Internet Archives http://www.tawpia.org and http://ceramics-r-us.co.uk. Stop in, bring images of your collection, ask questions or just say hello! The forum can be found at: http://www.auctionbytes.com/forum/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=27

2) AuctionBytes Contest: Win a Book
By Ina Steiner

Antoinette Matlins sent me an extra copy of her book, "Jewelry & Gems at Auction" and gave me permission to give it away to an AuctionBytes reader. (It is a great book and a must-read if you buy or sell jewelry. See the Amazon listing at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0943763290/auctionbytescom)

To have a chance of winning this book, go to AuctionBytes Buyer's Market classifieds http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/market and find an ad that contains an image with a red bus and simply email me the name of the store. The tenth person to email me with the right answer will win this great book.

While you are there, take some time to browse around. You can find some useful tools and some great presents (the holidays are around the corner!), and you may be tempted to buy yourself a present!

I will announce the winner in the next issue.
