This & That: Online Auction Roundup
1) Hoax Emails on the Rise
By Ina Steiner

Beware of hoax emails - they have been on the rise and are getting so legitimate-looking they are fooling even experienced Internet users. If you get a letter from your Internet Service Provider, AOL, eBay, PayPal, Western Union or any other company, saying you need to update your account information because of a security breach, or because you are being investigated for a policy violation (e.g., shill bidding), or any other reason, be wary! It may be a cyber-criminal trying to trick you into revealing your credit card and bank account information. eBay and PayPal have set up some useful pages: http://forums.ebay.com/dwc?14@1038186406024@.ef298d5

The Foxes have been art and collectibles experts for more than 30 years. They promise the site will showcase 500 great eBay auctions, and said they will advertise their site nationally. http://www.featuredauctions.com
