I'm very pleased to announce that, beginning March 26, AuctionBytes will launch the Bookologist - a new newsletter for online booksellers - and bookologist.com, a feature-rich Web site designed to meet many of your bookselling needs. As editor of the newsletter, I'm committed to providing the kind of information that will help you become the best bookseller you can be.

The Bookologist will be published twice monthly and be available by email subscription at bookologist.com free of charge. The Bookologist will help you acquire better books, earn higher prices for them, expand and sharpen your knowledge of topics such as book condition, grading, terminology, first edition points, and simple repair, offer up-to-date tips on the hottest market niches and much, much more. Special features in upcoming issues will include profiles of successful booksellers, auction presentation makeovers (for anyone brave enough to volunteer), and reviews of books about bookselling.

Bookologist.com will, over time, be built into a powerhouse resource center with an extensive library of the best, most pertinent and useful bookselling links available, include a discussion forum for questions and comments about the book business, and archive not only past issues of the Bookologist but also provide a warehouse of meaningful bookselling information.

Please feel free to email me at editor@bookologist.com with any questions or comments prior to our launch date. I look forward to having all of you join us!
