We continue to get positive feedback about The Bookologist, our new newsletter for booksellers. Antique Trader magazine wrote a nice article about Bookologist Editor Craig Stark in this week's issue: http://www.collect.com/interest/article.asp?id=6974.
We have one more project in the pipeline for 2003, and I'm pleased to announce it today. Beginning in June, we will publish another newsletter called "MyEZsale Ecommerce Guide," which will take a broader view of ecommerce.
We have always felt that auctions are just one of the many viable sales channels available to sellers. Many merchants who cut their teeth on eBay are becoming increasingly interested in creating their own online storefronts and Web sites and exploring other multi-channel selling strategies.
As more and more sellers explore these new frontiers, the inevitable questions arise. How do I drive traffic to my site? What is the best shopping cart system? How do I choose a Web hosting company? These were questions that we always wanted to tackle, but were a bit outside the scope of AuctionBytes' focus.
Julia Wilkinson, who has written for AuctionBytes in the past, will be Editor of MyEZsale Ecommerce Guide. Julia is a columnist and author with experience in online communities and Web content production. She worked for America Online from 1988 - 1997, and was Director of Community for womenCONNECT.com from 1997 - 1999. At America Online, Julia was production manager responsible for all design and production for four major AOL channels. Julia created online areas in conjunction with major media partners, including the New York Times, Scientific American, Business Week and Wired.
AuctionBytes will continue to bring you articles that are focused on buying and selling on auction sites. And even if you are content to sell exclusively on auction sites, come on over to MyEZsale. We hope to have fun, learn a few things, and make you some money along the way. As always, we welcome reader feedback, suggestions and article contributions. Your support and suggestions are highly valued.
You can sign up for a free subscription to the twice-monthly MyEZsale Ecommerce Guide newsletter at http://www.myezsale.com. We are building up the resources on the site, and will officially launch in June.
Thanks for reading. And as always, thanks to the advertisers whose support makes it possible for us to publish AuctionBytes for free: Craters & Freighters, Auction-Sellers-Resource.com, AuctionHawk, Zoovy, InkFrog, eDeposit, Bid4Assets.com and Liquidation.com. Links are found at the end of the newsletter.
