5) Appraisers Association of America Directory Now Available
By Ina Steiner

The 2003-2005 edition of the Appraisers Association Membership Directory is now available. This comprehensive directory lists 1,000 appraisers working in more than 600 categories of property appraisals in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. The book is organized by geographical location, by alphabetic index of appraisers, and with a classified index by expertise. Libraries, law offices, banks, accountants, museums, universities, and insurance agencies find this volume to be an effective reference for locating appraisers with often difficult to locate specialties.

Established in 1949, the Appraisers Association of America is the oldest association of personal property appraisers. Members are accepted in 50 major categories and over 600 sub-specialties of personal property. Categories include the broad areas of European and American fine art, furniture and decorative arts, jewelry and specialized categories such as Asian art, tribal art, toys and other collectibles. The volume may be purchased for $24.95 from the Appraisers Association of America, Inc., 386 Park Avenue South, Suite 2000, New York, NY 10016 or via email aaa1@rcn.com. Telephone (212) 889-5404
