2) eBay on a Roll with Anything Points
By Ina Steiner
eBay introduced a program in May allowing members to convert loyalty points from certain partners, such as airlines or hotels, into "Anything Points." The points are stored in users' PayPal accounts and can be applied to purchase items on eBay. Members can also use Anything Points through PayPal to pay eBay Seller Fees (http://anythingpoints.ebay.com/PFWP), and this week, eBay introduced a new credit card (Mastercard) that allows eBay users to earn eBay Anything Points with every purchase.

4) Half.com Purging Books
By Ina Steiner
Booksellers on eBay's Half.com service have been getting emails informing them that they are removing certain books from their system. eBay did not get back to us about why the change is being made or how many ISBNs are affected. eBay is integrating Half.com into the eBay marketplace, a move expected to be completed by 2004.

5) Msgtag Certified Email
By Ina Steiner
In the last issue, a reader wrote in about a service that allows them to track email and tell if the email was received, when it was read, how many times, how long, etc., (http://www.readnotify.com). This can be useful for auction buyers and sellers who are having problems with trading partners. Here's another such service.
