LiveAuctioneers.com said during its first year in business, it has built a stable of 90 top-quality American auction houses, including Freeman's, Brunk, Alderfer Auctions, Cowan's, David Rago Auctions, Dallas Auction Gallery, Garth's and Greg Manning. LiveAuctioneers.com offers technology that allow auction houses to open their doors to a global audience through "real time" online bidding. Since last January, LiveAuctioneers' online catalogs have registered 4.8 million unique visitors, with close to $155 million in merchandise listed. The company said it became profitable within its first six months of operation. 4) Sell.com Eliminates Transaction Fees

Sell.com has eliminated final transaction fees and instituted a new pricing model. Sell.com classified ads run 30 days and cost as little as 60 cents, depending on membership level. Sellers can now join one of several sell.com Premium Membership Levels for discounts on listing fees and promotions. The company also announced it has close to 200,000 members. http://www.sell.com

5) Auction Photos Service Looking for Beta Testers

6) Yahoo Launches International Payment Service in English & Spanish

Yahoo launched two new payment methods for U.S. members wanting to send money internationally. The PayDirect World Card is a stored-value card that can be used to withdraw local currency at any of the more than 800,000 Cirrus ATMs around the world, just like a traditional ATM card. The maximum amount of money that a user can send at one time is $899, with a gross total of $3,500 for a rolling 30-day period. Fees start at $5.95 and vary depending on the amount and destination country. Recipients of the card must also pay a fee (minimum $1.50). Fees for Yahoo's new MoneyGram service are different, see Web site for details. Yahoo! PayDirect International is available in English (http://paydirect.yahoo.com) and in Spanish through Yahoo! en espanol (http://espanol.yahoo.com).

8) Tias.com Offers Free Coupon for Online Classifieds

The Tias.com online antiques mall is giving away coupons worth $10 that can be used towards a classified listing on the TIAS Exchange Web site. Customers can place "Wanted" or "For Sale" listings and have a choice of a newsletter ad ($25) or a standard ad ($10). To redeem the coupon, go to the TIAS Exchange (http://www.tias.com/classifieds) and place an ad. At checkout, simply enter the coupon code# 1951218 where it says "Enter coupon or special offer code:" and $10 will be deducted from the order. The coupon is good through January 7, 2004. Only one coupon is allowed per person.
