In Adam Cohen's book, "The Perfect Store," Cohen says eBay viewed OTWA as a barometer of community sentiment, and the opinions expressed on the OTWA and AuctionWatch boards "could literally change eBay policy." OTWA is the oldest, largest, non-affiliated OAI message forum on the Internet, and many auction users go to OTWA to get their "fix" of business networking and socializing.
