This & That: Online Auction Roundup
1) The Glitch Report Forum
By Ina Steiner
Reminder: AuctionBytes does not endorse the products and services featured in the "This & That" column, which often features new Web sites. (Anyone can set up a Web site.) Fraud is becoming widespread in the online auction world, and you should think twice before giving private information or User IDs and passwords to any third party.
********
I get many letters from people reporting problems, outages and bad customer service. In order to facilitate the reporting process and to help confirm whether they are widespread problems, we have created "The Glitch Report" forum on the AuctionBytes discussion boards. The idea is to report problems so they are documented in a timely manner. You can still send me an email, but I will refer you to the boards as well so we can share information with each other. I hope this will help me deal more effectively with reports of problems so we can all know what is going on.
