5) UPS Small-Business Contest

UPS is looking for the most innovative, "out-of-the-box" U.S. small businesses to tell their stories. To participate, eligible small businesses must submit a 500-word essay to UPS describing how they are the most innovative. Winners will be selected by a panel of expert small-business judges who will award prizes including $10,000 in cash or UPS package delivery services, a new HP computer with UPS shipping tools included, and $5,000 worth of UPS' consulting services.

6) ChannelAdvisor Launches Affiliate Referral Program

ChannelAdvisor launched a new Affiliate Referral Program. Affiliate partners are compensated for referring customers to ChannelAdvisor via unique links on their website. Upon registration and approval, affiliates are assigned an affiliate ID, which will allow access to the new Affiliate Information Center. The Center contains various banners, descriptive text, and logos that affiliates can use on their website to promote ChannelAdvisor.
