Regarding "eBay Australia Adds Telephone Verification Option" http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m08/i08/s02

Ina,
I find it interesting that Ebay Aussie is ahead of ebay usa in options. The phone option is a good one especially in these days of identity theft.

I certainly don't feel good about ebay having my cc number. Gene & Charlotte

Regarding New AuctionShark Tool Searches eBay, Amazon, Yahoo and Overstock Auctions http://auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m08/i17/s03

Ina,
Maybe you do not know or forgot that Antiquecast also does this & also does past/closed auctions on the above (although maybe not overstock). http://www.antiquecast.com Been using it as a tool for several years & put it on my antiques research page.

Hi Ina,
Now that Paypal is requiring all users to accept "credit card" payments, you may want to help your readers better understand the risks.

Hi Ina,
Just a note to let you know that I enjoy your newsletters, especially your Collector's Corner. I always learn so much quickly and "in-a-nut-shell" manner without having to read and read and read for hours to learn something. I especially appreciate it when you give various books and web sites that are available where I can go and expand on the topic featured.

I do hope it is all right to copy this section for my files, because I have been doing so for quite some time. I like having the names and authors and web sites of the various items that are featured at my "finger tips" without have to try and bring it up online and search your past newsletters.

Anyway, THANKS again for these articles and keep them coming.

Regarding eBay Search Gets Disrobed http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m08/i05/s03

Ina,

I've seen this in action over the last few days. What's really pitiful about it, is a simple line of code that says:

"only "correct" the user if the search returns zero results, otherwise run the search as typed."

It's an absolute no-brainer, and super easy to code. Just another example of Greedbay doing crap "enhancements" that we don't need, at the same time as raising prices (Paypal is doubling fees on the 18th)!

Thanks for the article.
Regards,
Logan
