Only one event brings thousands of eBay buyers and sellers together with eBay executives and staff as well as third-party vendors - the annual eBay Live conference. And this year, you'll be able to watch it on AuctionBytes.TV!
The fifth annual eBay Live kicks off next week in Las Vegas (June 13-15), and AuctionBytes will be there to cover it and the Developers Conference immediately preceding eBay Live.
Julia Wilkinson and I will be writing articles about both conferences, which we will publish in the AuctionBytes Newsflash newsletter. We'll be attending sessions such as the PayPal Panel and the Town Hall Meeting with Bill Cobb. These sessions give users an opportunity to ask some tough questions, and it's always interesting to hear what executives have to say. I'll also be attending eBay's annual shareholder's meeting Tuesday morning as well as CEO Meg Whitman's keynote address Tuesday evening.
Each day of eBay Live, I'll spend some time in the Exhibit Hall with our videographer to do some interviews with attendees and exhibitors. We hope to bring you a daily video roundup so you can see the activities, hear about new services, and have a better taste of what's going on. In addition, our photographers will send back hundreds of photos of the event (he gets a hundred-dollar bonus if he catches Meg Whitman, Pierre, or Bill Cobb dancing on the tables at the Gala event).
