Oh boy DO I remember! Found a Louis Vuitton duffel bag at an Estate Sale for $20.00. It was used, but in terrific condition. Rushed home, photographed it, and launched the auction. Shortly afterwards I received an email from a Frenchman, stating it was a FAKE, and if I didn't remove the auction immediately, I would be in violation of LV policy and subject to a lawsuit by them! Slightly hysterical, I couldn't get it off there fast enough (even though it had several bids by then). Bottom line.....I put it into my Antique Mall showcase and sold it for $250 to a lady who didn't care whether it was authentic or not!!
