Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. Today we hear from Ed Koon about his first sale on eBay: a Mercedes!

Hi Ina.
I really enjoy reading your news letter. Here is my first eBay car sold in 1999.

It was a 1982 Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel, and brought a ton of money.. Buyer came from New York, he said his wife wanted on of these for years but they were all rusted out from the road salt after they got that old. That began my eBay career.. It was a good thing while it lasted.. (sigh) http://www.suspendedfromebay.com

Keep sending those news letters.
Ed Koon
