Profitability Elusive for eBay Drop-off Stores, Survey Reveals
The state of eBay drop-off stores is hotly debated in the online auction industry, and a new survey from AuctionBytes shows even the owners are ambivalent about it. Sixty-three percent of storeowners say the business has not met their original expectations, while the majority expects growth in the area of online consignment services over the next 12 months. And while the survey reveals that there are lots of challenges, eBay drop-off store owners say their biggest challenge is educating the public. Read the full results, and draw your own conclusions!
