Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. Today we hear from Carlos Gutierrez who got his start on eBay with a very personal and unique item.
My combat boots from Iraq.
I took my pair of boots, washed them, then I tool images of my wearing them in Iraq. I also stated the number of days I wore them etc. It was an entire history of the boots with images. Then I cleaned them and took very nice pictures of clean boots.
I think they sold for almost retail cost. This is how I got started.
