Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. Today we hear from Charlene Anderson, who started selling online 8 years ago!
I stated selling knitting needles because I was buying lots that contained them. I was looking for knitting needle gauges - I collect them - (which measure the size of the needle) and many were in lots with needles I didn't need or want. So I kept the gauge, repacked the needles in more logical lots with one from previous purchases, and sold them. It worked so I got most of the gauges for a very reasonable price because I sold off the needles. This was almost 8 years ago and among my various accounts I now have about 12,000 transactions, 6000 FB, with 99.9% positive FB.
Thanks,
Charlene
