Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. Today we hear from two readers - Steve, whose first sale was a pair of Felco pruning shears, and "PagesBazaar," who sold a cotton "dancing hanky" handkerchief!
There is more info about my early days of online selling posted on a different page of the site. Since those days, I have a new desire for teaching others how to buy and sell on eBay, and am currently the top-ranked instructor in the state of Alabama.
Hopefully, if posted, it will motivate someone to keep their eyes and ears open to opportunities that exist on a daily basis. I'm still looking.
Best Regards,
Steve Espinosa

My first eBay sale was a cotton handkerchief featuring a picture of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing. It sold for $35.00 to a customer named Astaire. It was my first sale and her first purchase. We were both worried that something bad might happen since neither of us had a record. Amazing how we remember our "firsts".
