Reading AuctionBytes: Collector's Corner: AuctionBytes Resource Links

The AuctionBytes.com website features Resource Links for collectors and is a treasure trove of interesting and useful information. You can find the main index page by clicking on "Collector's Links" on the left navigation column on the AuctionBytes website, or by going directly to http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/pages/resources.

There are 18 areas of interest to collectors: Advertising, Art & Antiques; Books; Coins; Comics; Ephemra; Fabric & Vintage Clothing; Glass; Jewelry; Miscellaneous; Photography & Vintage Cameras; Porcelain, Pottery & China; Silver, Sterling Silver Silverplate & Holloware; Space, Sci-fi & Fantasy; Sports Collectibles; Stamps; Toys & Dolls; and Trains & Railroad Memorabilia. Click on the area you're interested in to go to that section.

Each page has a list of resources to learn more about that particular area of collecting, along with links to AuctionBytes Collector's Corner columns. It's fun to take a look back at some of the interesting articles that have run in past issues on a wide range of topics. The "Recommended Reading" section contains a list of books on the topic with links to Amazon.com where you can find out more about the book - and order it, if you find it worthy of adding to your library.

AuctionBytes also has discussion forums devoted to collecting. You can click on "Forums" on the left navigation column on the AuctionBytes website or go directly to http://www.auctionbytes.com/forum/phpBB/index.php.

Under the "Collector's Forums" section, you'll find forums dedicated to various areas of collecting. This can be helpful in identifying items you want to sell but aren't sure how to describe.

There's also a forum called "This Week's Haul and What Have I Got?" where readers share stories of the treasures they've found after plundering local yard and estate sales!

These resources are free for AuctionBytes readers and can help you become more informed buyers and sellers. Happy Collecting!
