First Item Sold Online: Helping Move Armies!

Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. It's said an army moves on its stomach, and today, we hear from Molly whose first transaction helped the army get moving!

Boy, do I remember those days. I had no camera and gave a very detailed description for a complete Oster Center (Mixer/Blender/Processor, etc.). How stupid I was. Guessed at shipping and was way under when I boxed this thing up in two huge cartons. Shipped to an APO address nonetheless. Boy, was that seller thrilled to get it. He was in the Army and mess cook. Said that the Oster Center made his life so much easier. Didn't feel so bad after spending $25 of my own money on top of his $35 to ship it. Decided big items were for the birds and began selling vintage jewelry.
