2) eBay Alternatives News Roundup

Here's a roundup of news articles about online auction sites and ecommerce marketplaces from recent issues of the AuctionBytes Newsflash newsletter. Online-auction site Tazbar is closing (link). ArtFire launched customizable storefronts (link), while Silkfair launched custom shops (link).

CQout launches Quick Launch Assistance for PowerSellers (link), and Etsy saw sales rise 6 percent in May (link).

Atomic Mall has partnered with DealOZ.com, a new dynamic price-comparison site with millions of listings in its database; Bonanzle has updated its widgets that sellers use to embed Bonanzle offerings in their blogs, social networking pages or websites; and OZtion has rolled out a new bidding summary page (link).
