1) Google to Cancel Marketplace Sellers' Google Base Accounts

Google Base is retiring the accounts of individual sellers who list on marketplaces in order to eliminate duplicate feeds. Instead, it has introduced multi-client accounts for aggregators and marketplaces to manage feeds for multiple sellers under a single account. See details in AuctionBytes Newsflash. (Link)
2) RedTag Holds Liquidation Warehouse Sale in Florida

Enable Holding, the parent company of online-auction site uBid, is holding a warehouse liquidation event in Florida. The RedTag Live event kicked off this weekend and runs through September 14, while inventory lasts. The sales event location is 6001 Powerline Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309. Event hours are scheduled each day from 9am to 8pm, except for Sunday when hours are from 10am to 6pm. The RedTag Live Sale event will feature thousands of products including, but not limited to, computers, appliances, HDTVs, GPS units, DVD players, Blu-Ray players, digital cameras and camcorders and tools all offered at liquidation prices. The last event, which took place in Tampa Bay, Florida, drew 8,000 people. (Link)
