1) Inc Magazine and Alibaba's Newpreneur Award Events

Proving that the recession can create opportunities to grow or start a small business, Alibaba.com and Inc. announced the 30 new entrepreneurs who have been selected to move on to the "Newpreneur of the Year" semifinalist round. With businesses ranging from recyclable furniture to online costume stores to insulated handbags for men and women, these 30 entrepreneurs will compete in New York, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles, for one of 12 spots in the next round. 2) PayPal Rolls Out Government Relations Program

3) ACNA Hosts January Seminar for Antiques Dealers

The Antiques & Collectibles National Association (ACNA), an association of antique dealers with over 3000 members in all 50 states, is hosting an educational seminar January 10-13, 2010, in New Orleans. The event consists of 3 days of classes and speakers covering many aspects of antiques and collectibles for members, who are made up of mall owner, shop owners, show promoters, mall & show dealers and collectors.
