By Ina Steiner
Reminder: AuctionBytes-Update does not endorse the products and services featured in the "This & That" column, which often features new Web sites. (Anyone can set up a Web site.) Online fraud has become widespread, and you should think twice before giving private information or User IDs and passwords to any third party.

Yahoo Small Business rolled out new feature enhancements for merchants in October. Yahoo Store merchants who use the Simple Promotional Email tool can now include coupons when sending an email to their customers. There is also a new option for product catalog feeds that are downloaded by shopping comparison engines and other third-party sites, such as Google Product Search. In the Search Engines section of Store Manager, along with the options to enable or disable product catalog feeds, sellers now have the option to "enable but do not syndicate" the feed, meaning the product catalog feed is enabled, but will not be readable by shopping comparison engines or other sites. This option is designed for merchants who wish to manage their own product catalog feeds. Read more on the Yahoo Store blog.

3) Kovels' Antiques & Collectibles Price Guide 2010
By Ina Steiner
The Kovels' Antiques & Collectibles Price Guide for 2010 is now available. This is the 42nd edition with actual prices collected from the year's sales - no estimates - in over 775 categories. As in past editions, the book lists an abundance of older items, but this version includes more 20th century items, some made as recently as 2000. Terry Kovel has been a lifelong collector and has written more than 98 books on antiques and collectibles. Until the fall of 2008 when her husband, Ralph Kovel, passed away, all Kovel ventures and adventures were the work of this indefatigable husband-and-wife team. Now, Terry continues to spearhead the Kovel enterprise along with her daughter, Kim, who has spent the last 10 years working on the Kovels' price guides and other Kovel projects and manages the Kovels' website.
