I was under the impression that eBay items was not eligible for Paypal claims anymore. Not so, I had a Paypal claim for a item where the buyer neither contacted me nor used the eBay dispute resolution. The item in question was "as is" and described as "not functional" and the complaint was that it was "not as described" because it was not functional. When I asked Paypal if the claim should be handled by eBay they said that the buyer could still file a claim with paypal.
I don't know if parts of PayPal have not gotten the memo or if the rule is just a suggestion.
Yours,
Jim

Ok Ina, now this has happened to me and I have proof that search is still not working properly. And I have made a screen shot.
Check out this thread on eBay. Yes, search is still broken indeed. Read the thread first to get the background and then note my screen shot a day later. The results keeps changing drastically. My listed item was no where to be found today when I did a search for Womens Orvis Jacket when apparently there are over 170 listed. (Today, similar to last evening, I got 23 in auction and FP and 51 in stores)
I have attached the screen shot of my search results in the attached Word Document.
