Hi Ina,
I ran across your site and wanted to relay my first sale on Etsy story.
When I opened up my first shop on Etsy, summer of 2008, I had some photographs my husband had taken on some various trips. One was a panaroma of Stonehenge from our trip to Europe a year earlier. I listed the photo and it sold within a week. When I contacted the seller to thank her and let her know the package had shipped, she told me she bought it as a gift for her Father for Father's Day.
She said they had taken a trip to England a few years earlier and she hoped it would bring back good memories for him and the vacation they took as a family. I couldn't help but be touched that a photo we had taken on our wonderful family trip was going to someone else to remind them of their wonderful family trip! That's what's so cool about Etsy: the people and stories that are brought together!
