eBid Bids for Bidville Auction Sellers

Online auction site eBid is giving Bidville members a special offer to attract their business now that Bidville is shutting its site. For a limited time, eBid is waiving its membership fees to Bidville users. Normally a lifetime seller membership, which comes with no listing fees and zero final value fees, costs $49.99. Mark Wilkinson said eBid would also import users' Bidville feedback.

"After the announcement of Bidville closing down it's operations, eBid is glad to offer their users a new home in our great value auction environment," Wilkinson said. "Bidville users simply need to email to support@ebid.net with their Bidville username, a screen shot of their feedback WITHIN the My Bidville area and let us know their new eBid username. We will take care of the rest."

uBid recently announced it was closing the C2C Bidville auction site, which had been operating since 1999. eBid, which also launched in 1999, has 14 interlinked country sites.

Meanwhile, iOffer.com issued a press release to let Bidville sellers know its Mr. Grabber tool can let them transfer their unsold items from Bidville to iOffer.
