Tarzana, CA June 19, 2008 - DSI Insurance, a leading provider of private shipping insurance, has added PayPal as a payment method for their online, instant coverage program. The addition of PayPal allows the millions of PayPal users' access to purchasing discounted shipping insurance in real-time via the DSI website (www.dsiinsurance.com).

Shippers wanting to cover a single shipment for transit related damage or loss have always been able to do so via the DSI website. Instant coverage was available, but only if the premium was paid via credit card. "We have been accepting PayPal as a method of payment for our open policy holders for years now, "said Ariel Shmorak, Vice President of DSI. "Our customers asked, so we made it a priority to add it as a payment method for our online program."

"In e-commerce, shipping is the cornerstone of a successful transaction. DSI gives sellers and buyers more piece of mind that they are covered if their packages are lost or damaged," said Colin Rule, Director of Dispute Resolution at PayPal. "We're excited that DSI customers can now purchase coverage with the security and convenience of PayPal."

Through the online system, businesses and individuals can purchase coverage for a shipment being sent via DHL, FedEx, UPS, the USPS, or almost any air, land, or ocean conveyance. As with all coverage provided by DSI, it is provided at a substantial savings to the carrier provided coverage and it provides all-risk coverage for loss, damage, or shortage while in transit.
