eBay Separates Fine Jewelry from Fashion Jewelry

eBay.com will create a separate section for Engagement/Wedding/Anniversary Jewelry , will update and add more Item Specifics (product attributes), and will align more with the eBay UK Jewelry structure to increase opportunity for cross-border trade.
In August, sellers of Fine Jewelry will need to move their listings into the new Fine Jewelry section and adopt new Item Specifics.

eBay announced it is making significant changes to the Jewelry categories in August & September and will create a top-level division between Fine Jewelry and Fashion Jewelry. "Fine" jewelry will be defined as precious metals and natural (not lab-created) stones. eBay said it heard from the community that it is currently difficult to sort between higher price-point jewelry pieces and the more fashion-oriented items.
