By Ina Steiner AuctionBytes.com July 09, 2008
PayPal announced the availability of two new currencies in the PayPal system, the Mexican Peso and the Israeli Shekel. The company now supports 19 currencies, having added 10 currencies in 2006.
PayPal has 14 localized sites with full functionality. Users in many other countries are restricted to send and receive payments, with withdrawal in-country bank account or to a U.S. bank account, while users in certain other countries must withdraw to a credit, debit, or prepaid card.
PayPal said it has also "spiced up" its currency management page to make it even more user-friendly.
